Nico Crudele

I’m Nico, I’m working on electrochemical sensing of yeast metabolites. My project aims at miniaturizing electrochemical metabolite sensors to the microfluidics scale. These sensors will be used to monitor production of high value metabolites produced through engineered pathways in yeast. The sensors will also allow us to investigate the responsiveness of gene expression and repression systems that will be controlling the production of the valued metabolites.
