Fatemeh Ahmadi
PhD Student
Fatemeh is currently a PhD student at Concordia University where she has also got her MASc degree in Electrical Engineering. Fatemeh is generally interested in taking interdisciplinary approach to find sustainable solutions and tackle complex problems in health and energy.
Her PhD projects are focused on developing droplet-based microfluidic devices for synthetic biology, single cell analysis, personal medicine, and renewable energy application. She is collaborating with different teams at Concordia Centre for Applied Synthetic Biology (CASB), Concordia Perform Centre, and McConnell Brain Imaging Centre at McGill University.
While not in the lab, Fatemeh is a bookworm and if it is a sunny sunday you will find her hiking and photographing!
